MycoMythologies

Post-media artist Saša Spačal works at the intersection of research into living systems, contemporary and sound art. In the series of MycoMythology works (2020–), she ventures underground, where she investigates mycelium – but in MycoMythology, the underground network is not treated as an inert information system that merely perceives and transmits messages about extraterrestrial events, but as a complex multiplicity of needs and strategies of underground forces.
